Examination week is over (for me)

yeah,,the examination week is over for me today,, frankly, there's still one subject,,but it only collects essay and I've done it.. So, I can take a relax before preparing myself for presentation on Monday. The presentation is about English school Theory in International Relations. It's a group work, but for the presentation, we must do it by ourselves. We will put in a different group of persons and present our work to them.

Yeah thats too hard,haha
But, I will do my best..

The Last Week of Exam Week

Yeah,Im facing examination week now. Its the hardest part in my study which is have entered the Third year. Now, I have to study about International Relations Theory,,Its the most difficult one.. Wish me luck guys,,see you soon....

Indonesia Channel 2009

Last sunday night, Deplu and some university in Solo held a cultural performance by 50 Indonesia Art and Culture Scholarship 2009 awardees from 31 countries. This show held in Pura Mangkunegaran Solo. The guest star are Tia AFI and Baim.

The awardees learn about indonesian culture in 4 cultural studies center (sanggar) in Bandung, Solo, Yogyakarta, and Bali for 3 months. And at the end, they had to performed what they learn in a show named Indonesia Channel 2009. This event was also presented by Indonesia Foreign Minister, DR. N. Hassan Wirajuda and many other countries representative.

The awardees performed Angklung, Balinese Dance, Rampak Gendang, Jatilan Reog dance, Karawitan Concert, and also performance by Tia AFI, Baim, and Also Universitas Negeri Sebelas Maret (UNS) Choir. The show ended with singing Indonesiaku song which is created by Vincent Lagea the IACS awardees from Papua New Guinea in 2007.

Great Concept of World Peace Orchestra by Dwiki Dharmawan at GSP UGM Yogyakarta

Last night, There was a show performed by Dwiki Dharmawan Orchestra in GSP UGM. The show themed World Peace Orchestra which performed by Dwiki Dharmawan, Krisdayanti, Steve Thornton, Dewa Budjana, etc. The show was held in the framework of 60th Dies Natalis UGM. It's also a charity concert to help our brothers and sisters in Padang that had just hit by earthquake and to inform about Komodo Island to be a new 7 wonders.

The first time I saw the poster, I think the show would be performed by singing foreign songs which themed peace, but, Dwiki Dharmawan used his skill to arrange the music collaborative between modern music and traditional song from Flores, Javanese, and Balinese culture.

Its a creative idea to internationalization Indonesia's culture. All this time we used to think that International is a westesrn, so it must be in english. But, in this show, Dwiki Dharmawan tried to rise indonesian culture to international level. It must be have a great appreciate for him and his team. With his ability, he could bring indonesian culture be respected by International world.

I hope you can continue your work to promote indonesian culture well.
